Job Summary

Position holders will be expected to provide the investment management committee with timely and accurate reports, analyses, and recommendations related to the Nabo Africa Equity and Fixed Income funds.

Key Responsibilities: –

• Conducting basic company & investment opportunity research and analysis in listed stocks in the Africa market,
• Creating viable investment opportunities, which may involve conducting nation, sector, and firm screening,
• Keeping investors and market participants up-to-date on how their money is doing,
• Maintaining a thorough understanding of the African financial markets and the micro and macroeconomic environment requires regular research on individual African countries, industries, and capital markets.
• Actively contributing to the analysis, development, and execution of investment strategies,
• Data analysis and financial modeling,
• Constructing reports and giving talks,
• Take part in the process of creating value and managing the portfolio.

Basic Requirements: –

• An undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as financial economics, financial engineering, finance, actuarial science, etc (an aptitude for numbers is a must for candidates with a non-finance background)
• studying for or currently participating in relevant professional tests (CFA, ACCA, CAIA, CQF, CPA)
• Reasoning that is both analytical and quantitative
• Relevant Two years’ experience in the field of investment management
• Possess excellent abilities in planning, organizing, and prioritizing one’s work;
• Spirit of enterprise marked by a track record of success as an entrepreneur
