Description: The University of Regina Family Scholarship was created in 2009 to support University of Regina employees who are DEPENDENT and intend to pursue undergraduate or graduate degrees. A recognised DEPENDENT or the spouse of an eligible CUPE Local 5791 EMPLOYEE, an Academic Staff Member, an Administrative Professional and Technical Employee, or an Out-of-Scope Employee are the requirements for eligibility.

Qualifications:

  • For graduate students who have been accepted and are starting their first year of study:
  • A minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 80% is required, as is enrollment in a Master’s or Doctoral programme at the University of Regina.
  • Additionally, the applicant must be a recognised DEPENDENT or the spouse of an eligible CUPE Local 5791 employee, Administrative Professional and Technical employee, Academic Staff member, or Out-of-Scope employee.
  • The Family Scholarship benefit must be available to employees in accordance with the terms of their individual collective bargaining agreements.

The University of Notre Dame Australia is offering scholarships to Western Australian Premiers for 2024.

  • Regarding ongoing graduate students: The candidate must be enrolled in a Master’s or Doctoral programme at the University of Regina.
  • Be a recognised DEPENDENT or the spouse of an eligible CUPE Local 5791 employee, administrative professional and technical employee, academic staff member, or out-of-scope employee.
  • Registered and remain registered as a full-time graduate student in at least two consecutive semesters in the year relevant to the award.
  • and have a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 80%. The Family Scholarship benefit must be available to employees in accordance with the terms of their individual collective bargaining agreements.
