Work Requirements:

  • Maintain a unified front for CRTP’s studies and peacebuilding efforts
  • Assist the Institute for Research, Training, and Publications in coordinating its various projects (CRTP)
  • Create funding requests for CRTP events.
  • Compile financial summaries of how the money was spent
  • Keep in touch with your supporters and collaborators on a consistent basis.
  • Take a thorough accounting of all donations.
  • Plan a course to instruct on CRTP tasks
  • Planning and executing regional, national, and foreign gatherings
  • Ensure that records are kept for all CRTP endeavors.
  • Manage the CRTP’s study assistants.
  • Contribute to the CRTP’s research and documentation publication procedures
  • Gather information about the Centre for Research Training and Publications’ progress and share it with the public in semiannual and annual reports.
  • Meet for CRTP and network-related tasks
  • Make sure the work done by the CRTP is shared with the world by publishing findings, talks, etc.
  • Manage the monthly public peace talks hosted by the CRTP.
  • Maintain the CRTP and Hekima University College webpages up-to-date with the latest happenings.
  • The completion of any additional responsibilities as requested by Management

Essential Prerequisites

  • Peace studies, sociology, foreign relations, and anthropology are all examples of BA-level social science programs. Possessing a Master’s Degree is a Helpful Extra
  • Two to three years’ experience in program administration is required.
  • Proficiency in both study and writing
  • Competence in managing and arranging resources
  • Competence in applying logical structure matrices to project management
  • Skills in both drafting project proposals and completing project reports
  • Skill with Excel in Practice
  • Competence in preparing budgets, performing audits, and keeping tabs on spending
  • Fundraising and financial reporting fundamentals
  • Effective communication and work attitude
  • Capable of meeting tight schedules
  • able to travel as needed to check in on job progress
  • Competence in juggling a number of tasks at once
