What the role is for

• Process, mechanical, operational, maintenance, and R&D understanding for the pump product range. Pursue new market opportunities to increase market share and retain aftermarket business. Improve regional colleagues’ and clients’ technical skills through training, papers, etc.

Your Accountabilities

Among the responsibilities and duties, but not only:

• Regional pump specialist.
• Develop market-entry strategy.
• Promote pump products/services to regional customers using regional sales teams.
• Develop winning proposals with GPLM, GSLM, product sales, and sales support.
• Train customers, sales, and field service on pumps.
• Troubleshoot, advice on system design, support start-ups, and provide proper aftermarket support, including warranty/quality issue resolution.
• Win/loss reports, customer comments, regional market information, competitive actions, etc. are sent to GPLMs.
• GPLM/GSLM pump design, improvement, and new product development.
• Tests for GPLM/GSLM clients.
• Co-launch new pump products/services in the region.

Your Contributions

• NHD, BSC, B.Eng.
• Minimum 12 years in mining and mineral processing.
• Minimum 8 years’ product experience.
• 5+ years in business development.
• English speaking and writing capabilities. Language skills will benefit customers in the region.
• Selecting, sizing, and operating pumps.
• Effectively communicate with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• External and internal negotiation and influence skills.
• Multiple-team member who can multitask.
• Good time management, multitasking, and organization
