Customer Service Assistant

The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, operate the front desk efficiently, and ensure that patients are registered quickly and accurately.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Front Office Operations/Business Administration or a degree in a business related subject.
- Two years of experience in a customer service/reception workplace, primarily focusing on customer care.
- Excellent organization and time management skill.
- Ability to retain productivity under pressure and to multitask well.
- Tact, diplomacy and sensitivity.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Knowledge/experience in management information systems.
- Must be computer literate with great skills in computer packages

Position Description
- As needed, transfers calls and works with central reception to ensure phone coverage.
- Welcomes and greets patients/clients/visitors to the department in a courteous and friendly manner; determines reason of visit and directs to appropriate person or department (s).
- Schedules clinic patient flow based on prearranged appointment arrangements to service enough patients.
- Screens patients for new addresses, new patient visits, or updated registration when scheduling appointments and advises them of necessary information to bring.
- Provides exceptional patient service with sensitivity and diplomacy; follows Clinic confidentiality and privacy regulations.
- Keeps patient waiting spaces, office files, and front-desk areas tidy.
- Other tasks as needed.
