Objectives of the Position
- Assist the Human Resources Manager with general administrative tasks to ensure the smooth development and execution of all HR operational duties.
Most Important Duties
- Coordinate the recruitment and selection process with an outside agency by providing them with information about the candidates who made the cut.
- Assist with the interview process by arranging the interview space and supplying any other necessary resources.
- Facilitate the training of new employees, including recruits, national service members, and students on industrial attachment
- In charge of responding to employee inquiries in accordance with HR policies
- Facilitate staff development by coordinating internal and external training initiatives
- Assemble HR reporting data such as employee attendance and labor costs on a monthly basis.
- Verify that claimed overtime hours match overtime reports.
- Help the HR Manager with paperwork during performance reviews.
- Take charge of the vacation schedule to make sure it gets carried out without a hitch.
- Maintain a log of all HR-related meetings, including those between management and the union and any other interested parties.
- Coordinate with outside vendors to supply a clean and well-stocked break room, reliable transportation, and fresh uniforms.

Competence and Work History in the Field
- Qualifications include a college diploma and certification or degree in Human Resources, Management, or Industrial
Having a background in psychology is necessary
- The possession of a Master’s degree in Human Resources or a closely related field, as well as relevant professional experience, is preferred.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in Human Resources Management, including at least two years of supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise and/or familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems
Functional Capabilities
- Capability to effectively implement systems for talent acquisition, talent development, performance management, and employee engagement
- Expertise in Ghana’s Labour Laws and other relevant employment statutes, regulations, and HR best practices
- Skill with Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)

- Capable of conveying ideas effectively
- Capacity for meticulous organization and preparation
- Capacity to interact with and persuade a wide variety of constituents.
- Skills in paying close attention to detail and operating with minimal oversight are essential.
- Skills in analysis and problem-solving
