You’ll modify orders and allocate limited stock to client orders, meeting service and fill rate targets.
What you will do to help
You will:
- Serve as a single point of contact (business partner) for order management with a set of customers.
- Take orders, process and change them, make sure they are delivered on time and correctly, and put together billing information (including credit and debit notes)
- Have direct contact with customers (the supply chain or the buying department) on a regular basis about logistics.
- Optimize the size and number of order drops based on what the customer wants to cut outbound transportation costs.
- Make sure that the order acknowledgment and/or export documents are complete, correct, and in line with the country’s export/import laws.
- Set up delivery through third-party logistics companies and make sure it happens on time.

Purpose:
Make sure that distributors and key accounts get the best service possible and that orders are completely filled to meet customers’ expectations. Make sure customers are happy to improve customer accounts and learn what they want and where the account is going. Gets the main KPIs for Mondelz South Africa’s Customer Service and Supply Chain done.

Relevant college degree or certificate
- At least two to three years of experience in planning, managing sales orders, scheduling, and allocating products.
Specific job requirements:
- Great understanding of SAP and data analytics
- Highly self-motivated person who can meet deadlines; results-driven and goal-oriented.
- Ability to talk to a wide range of people, including customs agents, warehouse workers, shipping companies, and customers.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and very strong project management skills.
- Good at working in a team and able to coordinate with people who work in different departments or in different parts of the country.
- Expert skills in organizing, planning, and solving problems, with a focus on making things better all the time.
- Attentive and accurate in doing the work, and able to manage time well.
- Strong persuasion skills to work across departments to get what you want.
