Requirements in terms of education, training, and work experience:

• Electrical engineering bachelor’s degree or bachelor of science in engineering.
• Professional Engineer status with the Engineering Council of South Africa.
• A tenure of more than seven years in the field.
• Ability to lead a team of engineers performing both high-level and fine-grained design tasks.
• Experience in auxiliary system design, switchgear design, electrical panel and system design, and distribution board design is a plus.
• Acquired and demonstrated expertise in petrochemical and industry design requirements, regulations, laws, and global best practices.
• Ability to supervise, guide, and lead the electrical engineering team and to continuously
• improve the concept on generating quality engineering outputs as per customer and business requirements.
• Construction and commissioning exposure.
• Understanding of other engineering disciplines’ procedures and how to integrate with other disciplines’ interfaces.
• Affinity for and experience in business management of a sub-group in a professional service company.
• A valid driver’s license and access to transportation are required.

Required outputs and responsibilities:
